TCLA On Your Side
Association Engaged in Issues
With several potential issues looming on the horizon, members of the Board have spent many hours in strategic meetings and working to help protect the lodging and visitor industry in Portland. TCLA executives recently met with county commissioners and Portland City Council members to represent your interests and ensure the lodging industry remains visible and engaged. Congratulations to Commissioner Dan Saltzman and Jeff Cogen, two such policy makers that TCLA endorsed and helped to keep in office. TCLA will remain engaged in issues like room tax and public camping that could potentially have a negative impact on the overall visitor experience. Stay tuned to news on the website and be sure to subscribe to TCLA's monthly electronic newsletter for updates.
